On August 14, Plasma Blast was finally officially released and I just couldn't want to get my hands on those elite trainer boxes! They seemed so awesome and it was almost the same price as going to a prerelease at my town which is $35 and the elite trainer box is $40 but it includes a lot more stuff.
In this collection's elite trainer box, there was a lot more stuff including:
-8 booster packs (1 more compared to Plasma storm elite trainer box)
-four Genesect card dividers
-65 count Genesect plasma blast card sleeves
-40 basic energy cards; 5 of each element
-acrylic special condition marker for burn and poison
-trainer box
-collector's box
Side view of the packaging.
Prices in Vancouver that I have seen:
Sakura Media $40 (the cheapest!)
Metropolis comic and toys $39.99
Core games $42
Connection games $48.50 tax included (I overpaid since I wanted it on the day it was released and I thought not a lot of places sell it since when I wanted the Plasma storm one, I did not see any stores carrying it).
Toys R Us $49.99 (WHAT THE HECK LOL, NO!)

The back :D.
Once you slide your box out, this is what you see. A hard cardboard holding the square and the handbook tucked on the side.
Once you open your cardboard up, it is pretty much a poster. Its actually a really neat concept and I like that Pokemon put this little detail. Too epic looking!
The inside of the player's guide. I love that they have every single card printed in a physical book. I always just refer back to my ipad's app called "Poketeller" which not only has scans of every card out there, there is also updated prices from different websites such as troll and toad, ebay, professor oak, etc.
One of the main reasons I got this set was because I always need a box but I don't know why I can never seem to find a box that perfectly fits my Pokemon cards. I know there is specially made trading card cardboard boxes, but I have no idea why they are selling so expensive on ebay and on websites. I might as well just make it myself or find a cheaper alternative.
First look at the box when you open it.
The things inside. As I said, there is sleeves, dividers, energy cards, damage counter dice, acrylic counter and 8 booster packs. OHH BABY~ Let's rip these open! I had high hopes since

So what cards did I get in my elite trainer box? And the results are.....
As you can see, I didn't get anything good. Good I mean like an ex, full art...nothing. :( I already have most of the cards and I'm pretty much missing a few EX's and the full arts and my collection is done but I won't be too disappointed since I'm also a player so I can always use extra cards for a play set of 4.
The highlights of these 8 packs would be holo Archops, holo Houndoom, holo Salamence and a few useful trainers. Not too bad but I think I got my hopes up when I kept watching Youtubers opening their boxes and getting amazing pulls.
Anyways, thanks for stopping by. Remember to keep checking back! I will try to publish more openings since I buy cards almost every other day LOL. It's like drugs. Is this healthy? I know it isn't for my bank account but this is so addicting! AHH. Anyways, bottom line, check back frequently, okay? :D
